Hi Stacey-

These homes are beautiful!  What do you do with 9 bedrooms? Lots of kids or lots of guests, I suppose.

Hi Stacey!  Good idea! One thing i've noticed as a pattern.... the more luxurious the home, the more baths it has it seems.  I checked our MLS and the top priced sold in Illinois was this Barrington Hills home that sold for $6,400,000.  It originally listed for $7,750.000.... that's a $1,350,00 difference!  To be able to play around with money like that in just a blink!!  It's a 5 bedroom 5 & 1/2 bath on 3 lot/22 acres!  I would have NO problem receiving the 2.5% commission.  It was listed in June, and closed 3 days ago.  What a way to start off the year eh?

Good idea you borrowed from Pat!

Roy - PG County really has some gorgeous homes.

Diane - I guess when you spend that much money you don't want to walk too far to use the bathroom :-)  That's a gorgeous house, I would happily take that commission myself :-)

9.5 baths is insane but I suppose it's a good thing in an emergency! I have a friend who had 6 full baths and 2 half baths. She had 4 kids so I suppose it wasn't too decadent. Anyway, the prices are hight but still very good. If those homes were in Buckhead, Atlanta they would be a lot more. No need to follow up I can't afford them! :)

Karin - trust me, they used to be much more expensive around here too.  I'm surprised as some of the prices.  I can't afford them either.
