As some of you may know I have been hinting to my husband for weeks that I wanted a new phone. We already use AT&T so I had narrowed it down to the I-Phone or the Blackberry Bold.
For the first time ever, I wanted a cool phone.
I am super excited to say that my husband took the hint and got me an I-Phone. I can't wait to set it up with all the fun applications.
Anybody have words of wisdom about this phone or any info about what the must haves for realtors might be?
Hope Santa was good to you all as well.

FINALLY! A DOCTOR WHO MAKES HOUSE-CALLS!

There are some cool real estate and mortgage applications available. Have fun but be careful next thing you know you've got a ton tied up in applications and music.
Stacey, Santa was good to me but I didn't get an I-phone. I hope you enjoy using yours. I hear from everyone who has them how much they like them.
Congratulations on a great gift. Enjoy it, and have fun.
Stacey -
I've always been a Palm and Treo kind of guy, but, at some point during the next 20 years - I will join the 21st Century.
Enjoy your new phone - and resist the temptation to throw it out the car window should it ever freeze up.
Happy Holidays!

Stacey:) My hubby got me a Iphone also, so I bookmarked your post to see what cool info everyone has. Merry Christmas
Stacey. I think the entire nation was playing with new phones today. Have fun with yours.
I just posted this in the iPhone Group where other iPhonatics are gathering
iPhone under the Christmas tree? Here's a great resource for applications, etc. See iPhone Matters.
I really love iPhone Matters --- it's chockful of stuff and is constantly updated with the latest applications. They also have videos, etc.
Check it out, and have fun!
Stacey, the Iphone is great, but I consider the G1 a better phone because it is open source, extremely upgradeable and flexible, and has a battery that comes out. When the iphone battery dies, time to pay for a new phone! The G1 is unlockable as well, so you CAN use it with ATT
No I phone on my list, but Santa gave more nthan I fathomed. God Bless.....Merry Christmas.
Good for you and kuddos to your husband. I got my wife a cool phone this year and she was pretty happy about it.
Good phone means better business!
Fantastic! I hope you enjoy it!
Merry Christmas!
your friend for Charlottesville Real Estate!

Robin - glad Santa was good to you too.
Russ - thanks
Dean - i'll try not to throw it down in disgust
Donna - share any cool info you find out. Good for you too.
Ellie - i'm looking forward to figuring it out.
Pacita - i'll check that out thanks.
Brian - I'm not familiar with the G1
Larry - glad Santa was good to you.
Steven - good for you! (and your wife).
Jason, Charles, Michael - I certainly hope so!
Debi - I'll let you know how it goes.
I just saw another post about the I-Phone that had tons of information on it. Search AR and type in I-Phone and you will probably find it. I'm surprised they didn't feature it. I am a fan of the Blackberry and don't think I will ever buy another phone that isn't a blackberry...
I was happy to see Pacita's link above. I just got my iPhone earlier this month and I love it so far.
I am due for an upgrade in April ... and I'll get my i phone then! I cannot wait. Have fun with it.
Michael - my husband is a die hard blackberry fan too but he may be on the path to converting
Jason - so far i'm impressed
Erica - i'm sure you'll love it once you get it.
If you are a Blackberry user, you may be let down by the Iphone and G1 just due to the fact that they are made for a different market. The Iphone and G1 are marketed to the young and hip, not the business user, so they lack some of the hard core business aps the Blackberry has. I have a BB pearl and a G1 and I can tell you, the pearl is much more businees friendly. Try them both out, you can always take one back under buyers remorse.
I like both the blackberry + the iPhone. I waver between the 2, so we'll see in April what I get! I am leaning towards the iPhone now.
Congrats on your new iPhone! I have some new apps I'm about to blog about in the iPhone power group, so hopefully that will help.
I also wanted to respond to the comment made about the battery on the iPhone. While it's not removable, it IS replaceable. You just have to send it in or take it in to have it done. NO big deal.
Looking forward to seeing what you find that's worth sharing as well.
Got one and I love it. What I don't love is that Sprint sent me a bill today wilth a $200 early termination fee.
Brian - I am coming from a regular phone so anything is better than what I had.
Erica - I am loving my I-phone. It seems way cooler than my husband's blackberry
Ryan - i'll check out your blogs. Right now i'm enjoying the games (and the weather channel).
Christopher - ouch! It will be worth it in the long run.
I have an iphone and absolutely love it. Two of my favorites are the say where app and the say google...
Lori - I have to check out the say where app
