My busiest week yet!

I am in the midst of the busiest week of my young real estate career.  I started the week with 2 rental clients that had applications approved.  Then I showed property to a buyer that i've been working with for a long time on Wednesday.  She asked for a re-show with her family on Thursday and now she's interested in putting an offer on the property.  Today I showed a new set of buyers some listings in Southern Maryland (this was a referral from an agent here on activerain).  Tomorrow I am showing property to another buyer client i've been working with.  We've already put 2 offers in on short sale properties.  The first was withdrawn and the second one rejected so we are hoping to find something good tomorrow.  I had someone contact me from my website and I received a referral client from an agent who doesn't work in Montgomery County.

I feel like this is my first taste of what it would be like to have a booming market.  I know to more seasoned agents it might seem like old hat but for me this week has been exhilarating.

Busy but so much fun!!

I'm glad to hear you have been busy and have more appointments scheduled with potential clients. Though it can be tiring, busy is much better than slow. I remember a few years ago when a relatively new loan officer commented to me that they wished it would slow down because the were tired of working so hard. I told them they'll come a time they would regret saying that. A few years later it was slow and they were looking for business. Hopefully, you are seeing the first signs of a market turning in a positive direction.

Good luck and keep up the good work!

Good to hear it.  It is always great to hear of positive things happening.  Keep up the work and don't stop your prospecting efforts.  Keep it up and you will be amazed at how far you are ahead in the market when it SHIFTS back.

That's very good news!  I'm hearing from other real estate professionals around the country who are reporting similar activity.  And that is a VERY good sign!

It is so much better being busy. Fun stuff :0) Hopefully this is a sign of the market turning. Of course my broker says you can make money in any market. You just have to be consistent in your marketing efforts and concentrate on money making activities and delegate the rest.

Good news. I'm hearing the same thing from many other agents.  I hope it continues.

Awesome. Make sure to make the best of the business that you have and do an EXCELLENT job so that you will earn referrals (the clients kind, not the Realtor kind). It might be a good time to develop a workflow also. I have the toughest time with follow-up when I'm busy. A good well planned workflow can help in that regard.

Stacey-Ann - I am so happy for you! Now, you are beginning to reap the rewards from all the long hours you have put into your career. I never doubted for one millisecond that the dam would break for you. I hope you close them all so you can buy the burgers when I come down and get humiliated by your hubby on his home course. See you monday : )
